Adelaide Artificial Intelligence Meetup: 22 Nov 2018

Wondering how AI is being employed in business? What challenges are there? What are the policy discussions and outcomes? What lessons can be learnt both internally and externally?

We're honoured to have another awesome lineup of speakers for our third meetup. Nathaniel Mason (Business Solutions Team Leader: City of Tea Tree Gully) and Ania Karzek (Manager Digital Transformation: Department Human Services SA) both have vast experience in local gov/public service and first-hand knowledge of how emerging technology is being employed. Nathaniel will discuss how City of Tea Tree Gully have used AI for mail automation and also connecting AI skills & tech with real-world problems. Ania will continue this theme by talking about policy decisions and challenges faced by companies wanting to use AI systems. Andrew Niemiec (Senior R&D Engineer: Signostics & AIML) brings his experience working in R&D and managing a team of Deep Learning researchers at AIML. He'll talk about Signostics and how they're using AI to improve the performance of their Uscan bladder scanner.
