We’re thrilled to announce the launch night for the first Adelaide Artificial Intelligence (AAI) meetup, which AiLab and koolth are proud to sponsor and organise. Open to anyone who has an interest in AI, this is an opportunity to join a community of like-minded people to chat, discover, and promote the latest in AI (both locally and across the globe). Our goal is to actively encourage a wide ranging and diverse AI community in a friendly and fun format. So whether you’re a professional, a developer, an enthusiast, or just plain interested, please come along and spread the word!

Drinks and nibbles will be provided. Visit the Adelaide Artificial Intelligence Meetup Group to join the community and RSVP if you would like to come along (so we can confirm numbers). We can’t wait to meet everyone and look forward to seeing you there!

5:45pm: Drinks, nibbles and networking

6:00pm: Dr. John Flackett: Head of AiLab – Welcome, official opening and presentation

6:30pm: Erin Fitzgerald: Transformation Lead, Technology Division at Bendigo and Adelaide Bank – Erin will talk about the bank's progress with Artificial Intelligence and Robotics.

6:45pm: Dr Zygmunt Szpak: Research Fellow at the University of Adelaide – Zygmunt will talk about his research in AI Visual Technologies and the exciting new Australian Institute for Machine Learning (AIML).

7:05pm: More drinks, nibbles and networking.
